Have I mentioned how much I enjoy my new job?
Why?
Because I get to research, read, and show kids stuff like this. William Joyce is a brilliant illustrator, writer, and filmmaker who created this wonderful short film that received the Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 2011. There is a beautiful picture book to accompany it, which I will be reading to my students this week, along with showing them the film.
