Two words. Holden Caulfield.
I read The Catcher in the Rye for the first time in high school…I loved him. It changes quite a bit every time I read it and while I don’t necessarily love it as much as I once did, I will always have a special place in my heart for Holden.
and Igby…if you are a Salinger fan and haven’t seen Kiernan Culkin in Igby Goes Down, I suggest you run out and get it immediately. It’s not officially an adaption of the novel, but pretty much is and it’s fantastic. AND it has Claire Danes post My So-Called Life, but pre-Homeland!?!? Score.
