election day

ugh.
I come from a pretty political family…it’s long story, don’t ask. I’m pretty young to be jaded, but I pretty much am.
However, I am a little nervous about the outcome of this election. I am a strongly aligned liberal. However, I am not overwhelmingly thrilled with President Obama. But I cannot support the social and economic platforms of the opponent and his vice-presidential candidate.
I am ready for this to be over.
I need a drink.
thank goodness for those Gomers…

OMG. MAKE IT STOP. NPR—you are boring me silly. I cannot take anymore punditry, debating, and senseless political chatter. And of course there was all the Hurricane Sandy coverage, which I listened to interested, but wouldn’t recommend for listening…
Thank god for the Gomers, who start a new podcast season every Fall!

I started “running” and spinning again this week. I’ll be honest, podcasts are not necessarily the best thing to listen to while sweating buckets on a spin bike, but I gotta multi-task people! It’s time to break out that little shuffle!

What up!??!?

not interested in getting into politics on this blog, but I’m feeling pretty good about Obama’s announcement this week. While I think there are a lot of other important issues that need attention right now (jobs…cough, cough…JOBS…), I still think this is awesome.
love.
Ready for the weekend–a little dinner out tonight, yoga all day tomorrow out at Orbis Farm, Mother’s Day celebrations on Sunday!

I found this online somewhere a few years ago and randomly saved it to my computer.
The print is small, click it to zoom closer — it’s worth it!
Holy crap! I am beyond glad to be a young working lady in 2012 when I read this stuff.
I would love to use this in some sort of work of art or home decor piece .
Does that make me weird? whatever…

Had a bit of a rough day–still sick, had to finally break down and go to the doctor–first time in five years! Now on antibiotics, hope I can kick it!
This perked me up this afternoon–more laughing from BLR.
